LIGHT WEIGHT PALKY:
The lightweight Palky has social importance in hilly areas, where, there no transport facility is available. Palky may be defined as a structure; normally made of mild steel tube and canvas for transporting patients, weaker person, old person and pilgrims from one place to another place with the help of more than one person. 108 Health Emergency Service in Uttarakhand has adopted it.
