Fish Farming Using Natural Water Resources In Pithoragarh
Fish farming culture technology was initiated in higher Himalayan region with the objective for sustainable economy for the farmers. In this project the Common carp, Trout, Rohu etc were successfully cultured for commercial cultivation and numbers of farmers adopted this technology for their livelihood. Total 15 fish ponds were constructed in which 249 quintal of fish production were produced in a year.
