UCOST was acclaimed for its dynamic performance during Annual Review Meeting of State S&T Councils

UCOST participated in Annual Review Meeting of State S&T Councils during 29th -31st Aug, 2022 at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Dr Aparna Sharma, Sr. Scientific Officer, UCOST represented Uttarakhand State Council for Science & Teechnology (UCOST), Dehradun in above meeting. The meeting was presided over by Dr. Deb Priya Dutta, Advisor, SEED & SSTP Division, Dr. Rashmi Sharma, Scientist-F, Dr. Vishnu Priya, Senior Scientist, Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), Hyderabad, Mr Ravikant Prajapati, Scientist- B and representatives from various state S&T councils. UCOST was acclaimed for most dynamic performance of one of the youngest council in the country. Of the total 29 S&T councils, 27 councils attended the meeting. During the valedictory function, Compendium on STI Ecosystem at State Level was released in the virtual presence of Minister for Science & Technology, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh Sh.Om Prakash Sakhlecha. UCOST was one of the five councils in the country selected  for compiling and editing a chapter on “Technology Deployment for socio-economic development” in this compendium. A dedicated team worked on collection of information from all states/ councils  and collated the data. Prof Durgesh Pant, Director General, UCOST  extended his appreciation and  congratulated all the council staff for this great achievement & team work.
