A Project Review Meeting of the project titled “Mapping of Science & Technology Needs for Uttarakhand” was held on 20th July, 2022 through virtual mode under the chairmanship of Dr. Debapriya Dutta, Scientist G & Head, Science for Equity Empowerment and Development (SEED) Division, Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi. Meeting was organized by SEED Division, Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi. During meeting Dr. Rashmi Sharma, Scientist-F, DST was also present. Various states of India like Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Mizoram, Punjab, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Telangana also participated in this meeting. Dr. D. P. Uniyal, Joint Director, UCOST shared his views with respect to Science and technology based interventions. Dr. M. S. Rawat, Scientific officer, UCOST briefed about the project progress and activities through power point presentation. He said that the project is completed and project report along with UC has been submitted to DST.Chairman and Dr. Rashmi Sharma from DST, congratulated UCOST for successfully implementation of the project. During meeting officials from UCOST, Mr. Santosh Rawat, Mr. Gaurav Chamoli, Mr. Paras Upadhyay were present.
