CORDYCEPS MILITARIS MEDICINAL MUSHROOM DEMONSTRATION – The demonstration unit of Cordyceps militaris (One of the unique and highly medicinal mushrooms) is successfully established under Technology Resource Centre (TRC) program at UCOST, Dehradun by Krishivan Research Centre for Agripreneurship Development & Environment Protection Samiti (KRCADEPS) with Help of Technical partner Visheswar Agro Products (VAP). During Inauguration of the demonstration unit in UCOST premises, with presence of Director General Dr. Rajendra Dobhal, he has said that this mushroom will provide medicinal benefits, for wellness & well being for mankind. Generally, Cordyceps militaris constitutes various bioactive compounds like cordycepin, cordymin, ergosterol, glycoprotein and various polysaccharides which work as immunity boosters and can be used in various disease of liver, kidney, infertility problems can be cured and healed. Dr. D.P Uniyal, Dr. Piyush Uniyal, Er. Jitendra, Dr B.P Purohit & council staff were also present in the inauguration program with the Expert and team members of Krishivan Research Centre (KRCADEPS), Pramod kr. Chourasia, Mr. Keshav Ram Sharma, Chintamani Paudel And Visheswar Agro Products (VAP) Technical expart Mr. Durga Prasad Joshi.
