Celebration of Teacher’s Day 2017 at Vigyan Dham, Dehradun

Teachers Days 2017 is celebrated on 5th Sept, 2017 at Vigyan Dham, Dehradun. On the occasion of Teachers Day a popular lecture was given by Prof. Saudan Singh, Vice Chancellor, H.N.B. Uttarakhand Medical Education University on ” Life Style Diseases and their preventive measures”. Dr. Rajendra Dobhal DG UCOST enlighten on the life of Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. He was the 2nd preseident of India. In India Teacher’s Day is celebrated on 5th of September as a tribute to the contribution made by the teachers towards the community. Since 1962 the day commemorates the birthday of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakhrishnan, a great teacher and a staunch believer of education, known for his contribution towards the education system of India.
