An MoU was signed between Uttarakhand State Council for Science and Technology (UCOST), Dehradun and National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Ahmadabad

To provide impetus to pharmaceutical research in the state, an MoU was signed between Uttarakhand State Council for Science and Technology (UCOST), Dehradun and National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Ahmadabad in the virtual presence of Dr Shashi Bala Singh, Director, NIPER, Ahmadabad & Hyderabad on 28th Oct, 2022 at UCOST, Vigyan Dham, Dehradun. This would facilitate collaborative research, education, advanced training & holding workshops for students, researchers, faculty, officers and scientific staff of Uttarakhand. Prof Durgesh Pant, Director General, UCOST said that it would be a milestone for the research in the field of pharmaceuticals science in the  state. He emphasized that this MOU would usher in conceptualizing collaborative research proposals on bio-resource of the state and extending laboratories and other infrastructure facilities of this prestigious R&D organization. Dr Shashi Bala Singh, Director, NIPER congratulated both the organizations and expressed hope that this collaboration would be of tremendous help to students. Mr Avdhesh Nautiyal, Registrar, NIPER Ahmedabad, Dr D.P.Uniyal, Joint Director, Dr Aparna Sharma, Sr. Scientific Officer, Dr Ashutosh Mishra, Sr. Scientific Officer, Dr Jagbir Aswal and Mr Manoj Kanyal were present during the MoU signing.
